Job Costing

Job Costing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV allows for the successful management of profitability by job.  Resources, Items and general ledger accounts (for general expenses) can be allocated against the job in order to establish the Job Budget. Figure 2 Dynamics NAV 2013 Share Point Client


Resources are able to capture timesheets against the job (via Sharepoint) and WIP is tracked for all costs accumulating while the job is under way.  The customer can be invoiced against the job at set intervals, based on time and materials or only at job completion.

Group Resources together based on skill level and view their allocation to jobs to ensure you have not over-committed resources against your jobs.
